Yeehaw! Big Roddy’s has arrived in Fortitude Valley

After starting as a stall at local markets serving up more-ish ribs and homemade sauces, Big Roddy’s Rippin’ Rib Shack opened it’s epic first joint in Fish Lane in 2017. Fast forward three years of delicious meaty goodness, and Big Roddy’s second rippin’ rib shack has opened on McLachlan Street in the Valley! 

Taking their wicked hospitality, philosophy for generosity and, of course, their secret rib recipes across the Brown Snake, the team at Big Roddy’s are excited to share their American-inspired eats with more Brisbanites. While it’s all about that greasy, sticky American goodness, Big Roddy’s takes pride in quality produce with an emphasis on buying local – the exception being the cheese curds for the loaded poutine coming all the way from Canada (that’s what I’m talking aboot!). 

The new Valley joint will also feature “Big Roddy’s Up Late” – an experience that will be equal parts rowdy and delicious. Every Friday and Saturday evening from 9pm to midnight, chow down on the saucy late-night menu, cocktails, beers and wines and let Big Roddy’s do what they do best. 

Speaking of rowdy, swing by on Sunday, March 1 from 5.30pm to midnight to enjoy some classic eats and 4 Pines brews for the opening extravaganza!

Big Roddy’s Rippin’ Rib Shack is now open 86 McLachlan St, Fortitude Valley, serving up ribs, burgs, fries, and good times, 7 days a week!
