The northern New South Wales favourite is setting up shop in the Fortitude Valley, with doors opening early 2019. Punters can expect a 90-seat venue attached to the brewery, but they’re keeping tight lipped for now!
Holey Moley, there’s a new arcade bar popping up in Brisbane! B.Lucky & Sons bar/arcade is heading north to join Netherworld as one of our face kidult arcade/bars. Dishing out some seriously sweet pawn-shop arcade prizes (vintage Chanel bags, classic vinyls and cameras), and will be slinging east-meets-west food (pizza topped with wontons?), canned cocktails and alcoholic bubble tea from September 27.
The new Belle Epoque will open in Emporium South Bank next week having tripled in size to an 80-seat patisserie and brasserie. Expect slow braised venison shoulder, oysters with beluga caviar and poached rainbow trout.
There’s no stopping Three Blue Ducks! In their quest for world (or at least East Coast) domination, the team are set to open their fifth venue in 2019, a bar in Byron Bay. Taking over the spot of nightclub La La Land (RIP), expect the same focus on ethical and sustainable food, craft beers and cocktails.

We’re all in a Fritz over Fritzenberger’s latest news! A second store, the Frites and Burger Brew House, is opening in September this year with construction underway in a secret location. The new digs will pour eight Fritzen beers alongside all the classic burgers and fries.
