Made with love by a husband and wife distilling team from the Valley, the four exclusive flavours of Winston Quinn Gin are set to shake up Little Valley with a week-long exclusive launch. With plenty of gin to make you grin, step in to taste their Good Thymes cocktail featuring the crispy Skinny Jean Blue Floral version, or keep it simple with a rotating G&T on offer. 

Make like Hannah Montana and experience the best of both worlds this spring as a new culinary experience arrives at Roma Street Parklands. And by the best of both worlds, we mean a modern city location overlaid with the serenity of lush parklands…that’s what Miley meant, right?. Say hello to The Garden Room Cafe, a sun-kissed, airy pavilion brimming with seasonal produce, local flavours and plenty of flair (think: fresh honey from the Parkland hives and herbs picked right from the surrounding gardens!). Open from dawn till dusk, step into their serene setting to enjoy hearty breakfasts, long lunches, light snacks galore. Set to open later this month, be sure to go Roma-ing in the Parklands! 

Chopsticks at the ready – Brisbane’s first-ever sushi degustation restaurant is about to roll into the scene at the start of October, dubbed Shishou! They say the best things in life come in small packages, and honestly, whoever ‘they’ are is right – Shishou promises an uber tight affair in a tiny, 12-seat eatery with three multi-course menus. Guaranteed to satisfy your sumo-sized appetite, expect to taste fresh Tokushima wagyu with foie gras and truffle, miso-glazed black cod, Japanese bluefin tuna, and a matcha macaron filled with green team cream and adzuki beans. With 10 sakes, a lean-wine list, and cocktail offerings, be sure to stop by Shishou before 2019 is out. 


Grab your bestie to share the love this Thursday, September 26, as Betty’s Burgers celebrates their first-ever Bestie Day with two-for-one burgers!
