Having mastered the art of hosting unique private events, West Village’s The Bromley Room #2 is continuing its creative streak with two of Brisbane’s leading chefs and caterers stepping onto the venue’s pristine culinary scene. The names set to ring a bell are Alastair McLeod and William Wallace, both having impacted Brisbane’s dining scene for the better with years of experience and commendation under their award-winning belts. Along with their exclusive catering teams, these legends cook up quite a storm that’ll leave your guests longing for more.
Take a walk on the sunny side (up). The brilliant owners of West End staple, Morning After, have a new breakfast spot in the works. Yolk will reportedly focus on the signature bacon and egg rolls made famous by the mother of all morning venues, and we can’t wait to see what else they have in store! Tacky Tex-Mex can get the heck out to make way for La Diosa Mexicana. Newly opened in Surfers Paradise, the Mexican restaurant and bar has been serving up sizzling Mexican feasts and salt-crusted margaritas on the regular. With a clean, modern, resort-style fit-out featuring an array of indoor and al fresco seating options, La Diosa Mexicana is not your typical tex-mex eatery. Get some.
Make way for gelato royalty, because La Macelleria Gelateria has opened its fourth store on King Street! The Bowen Hills foodie hub is now sweeter than ever, with new fun flavours lined up (including vegan options that aren’t sorbet), and you’ll want to hang around for a very special (and delicious) announcement later today…
Salt Meats Cheese is making its way to South Bank! Set to open in Mantra later this month, you can expect all your favourite pizza, pasta and antipasti on the menu, but you better brace yourself for an all-new breakfast buffet experience! Think grazing-style with a balance of Italian-inspired gourmet bites and healthy grab-and-go options. Mamma Mia.

Announced only days after their March experience wrapped up, Beer InCider will merrily be making its way back to Brisbane Showgrounds across two huge days this September 20-21.
