Win a VIP food truck experience at Picnic Hill!
- 29 Aug 2016
Sorry CBD nightlife, you’ll need to step up your game! Picnic Hill has hit the northern suburbs in full force, and we’re halfway out the door with our wicker baskets. First formed by the team at the Redcliffe Youth Space, Picnic Hill kicked off its first street food, music and art filled festival last month to crowds of hangry north siders, and after such a fun-filled day, the festival now happening the second Friday of every month! Set on the corner of Redcliffe’s Oxley and Anzac Avenue, you’ll enter a haven of live music, street art, market stalls, street performers, lawn games, and Brisbane’s most gourmet food trucks – all for the spare gold coin in your pocket. With your finest picnic blanket in hand, source a spot on the lawn to park the family and soak up the good vibes (and good flavours) with convoys including Jaffle Shmaffle, King of the Wings, The Bone Lorry and Vira Lata and Kraut ‘n’ About. And hey, there’s nothing we love more than justifying our gorging sessions with a good cause. All profits from festival entry goes towards supporting at risk youths in the North Brisbane area. If you’re feeling a little bit fancy, you can even book out on of their VIP day beds for 4, with a bottle of bubbles, a cheese platter, and personal service so you don’t have to wait in the food truck (or bar) line, all for $200. Want to test it out and see if you’re up for the VIP life at Picnic Hill on Friday 9 September? We’re giving you the chance win the whole VIP experience for free!
