Look, we’re not sure if they’re handing out humanitarian awards in this area yet, but we’ve done a whole lotta feasting for you guys. We’re talking taste-testing cakes, inhaling slabs of chocolate, and lining up brekky dates all over Brisbane. Purely for research, of course, and not at all linked to our insatiable quest for bacon. It’s a sacrifice, but we’re givers like that. Our point is – if you’re anything like us, it’s nice to give back to your body once in a while (in a non-ice-cream-related form), which is why we’re loving the nutritious, delicious plates at Teneriffe’s Wilde Kitchen. It’s officially time to take a walk on the Wilde side – and what better way than eating yourself healthy? Gut health Dear tummy, we’re sorry for all those full cream lattes. We’re especially sorry for the shots of tequila – but you’ll have to chat with the brain about that one; there’s clearly a wiring issue in the ‘extremely poor decision’ department. Please let us make it up to you with Wilde Kitchen’s assortment of fermented goodies – like kimchi and sauerkraut – or a brekky bowl of the coconut and lemon collagen panna cotta with muesli, fruit, and raw honeycomb. We good? Immunity She’s been harping on about it for years, but as it turns out, Mum is always right (just don’t let her know). Apparently, those bowls of chicken noodle soup she’s been toting to our sniffly selves every winter aren’t just an angle for Best Mum of the Year – they also might help us from getting sicker!
