With all the champagne, cocktails, and canapés you could ever need, we’ve rounded up all the best venues where you can yell, “new year, new me!” with a snack in hand this December 31.
The night will be a celebration of seafood with a four-hour food and beverage package at this Seafood Disco featuring some fishy favourites and a few gourmet treats…
Freshly shucked oysters and prawn cocktails will kick things off, with flavourful bites like salmon mousse tarts, lobster vol-au-vents and lemon pepper fast-fried calamari. You’ll be treated to a disco spritz on arrival, before a drinks package featuring more prosecco, wine, and beer than you can poke a fish at! Ring in the new year by the pool at Next Hotel Brisbane, which happens to be open and slinging drinks from 2 pm till the wee hours! Centred around a 20m infinity pool overlooking Queen Street Mall, The Pool Terrace & Bar is the perfect spot to kiss 2020 goodbye with a cocktail (or five). The talented bar team have curated a cocktail especially for the night–aptly named Next Level. As for eats, the full menu will be on offer for your snacking pleasure!
If a chilled-out breaky is your style, you’re in luck! Lennons Restaurant & Bar will be open between 7 am and 10 am on New Year’s Day, with yummies like fried chicken waffles, banoffee fritters, and a breaky carbonara on the cards, all best served alongside a well-earned Bloody Mary.

Giving this year the boot in frivolous fashion, Jade Buddha’s F%#K2020 New Year’s Eve party is just what we all need. There’s an epic package on offer for $145 a head, loaded up with tasty tap cocktails, basic spirits, beers, wines, and Jade’s favourite canapés. The three-hour package runs from 6 pm until 9 pm and doors open at 4 pm–a little birdie even told us that the first 100 guests through the door will receive a cheeky sweet treat, courtesy of Little Sprinkle Co! Sitting pretty (well, stunning) on the Brisbane River beside the Goodwill Bridge, Treasury Brisbane’s Will & Flow is set to host an intimate Fire & Ice-themed event for New Year’s Eve. Celebrate under the stars as you enjoy live entertainment and four hours of sipping Moët Ice Champagne, spritzes, beers and wines. Tantalise the tastebuds and excite the senses with four hours of gourmet canapés including oysters, beef carpaccio with tomato salsa and potato crisp, and scallops St Jacques alongside larger plates like seafood laksa. Back at Treasury Brisbane, pan-Asian favourite Fat Noodle will be throwing a New Year’s Eve event with a three-hour banquet guaranteed to fill your belly with food and your heart with joy! Between 9 pm and midnight, Luke Ngyuen’s iconic street food will be sent your way, alongside house spirits, wines and beers. There’s a plethora of tasty options at Portside Wharf this NYE, with packages and a la carte options aplenty. Byblos is offering a five-hour premium beverage package alongside canapés and a mezat menu for $189, while Belvedere Bar ‘n’ Grill is serving up sparkling wine and oysters by the river, with an impressive three-course menu for $125 a head.
