Where to drink this National Beer Day

National Beer Day: Friday, August 7

We’re always looking for an excuse to get on the beers, and it doesn’t get much better than National Beer Day. I mean, it’d be rude not to…

Wilston Village Bar | Wilston

Northsiders, get pumped up!

The new kid on the block is set to open its doors this Thursday, August 6. Swing by on opening night to check out what they have to offer, before coming back on Friday night and working your way through their taps! Head here to book, and stay tuned for more on Wilston Village Bar soon.

Saccharomyces Beer Cafe | South Brisbane

It only gets harder to pronounce after a few beers…

Our local always has us covered when it comes to brews. With twelve taps that constantly rotate and a menu of smoky eats, Fish Lane’s Saccharomyces is a beer lovers’ paradise with global brews to suit.

Brisbane Brewing Co. | West End

Sip the city’s best! When we’re not hoeing into one of their massive burgers or the one-kilo crispy pork knuckle, we’re perusing the taps for new treats to try. At the moment, we’re all about their signature Walker IPA.

Sea Legs Brewing Co. | Kangaroo Point

This Friday, we’re hopping straight to Kangaroo Point…

A relaxed, welcoming joint that pours some of Brisbane’s best, Sea Legs makes us giddy in the best way possible. Our pick of their brews? The west-coast style Sea Legs pale ale. A true classic.

Felons Brewing Co. | CBD

They brew it, keg it, bottle it, and pour it. Known around town as one of the places to be on a Friday, people will come from far and wide for a beer, and to soak up that epic view!

Soapbox Beer | Fortitude Valley

Who’s shouting?

Soapbox does the classics extremely well, but we love swinging by for one of their more eccentric brews, like the delicious Sweet Talker–an Iced Vovo-inspired biscuit ale. Big ups.

Catchment Brewing Co. | West End

When you’re continuing the heritage of brewing in West End that started in 1886, you’re probably pretty darn good at what you do. Taking things to another level with their craft beers, brewery tours and bustling atmosphere, we’re keen for the next 130 odd years…

Pineapple Hotel | Kangaroo Point

You can’t have a conversation about beer without mentioning the Piney. If you want to celebrate National Beer Day but don’t want to miss Friday night footy, you can almost guarantee the Piney will have every game on, live and loud!

Brewski | Petrie Terrace

Brewski is where the best beers of Brisbane and beyond come to play. Head downstairs to sip straight from the tap and explore the bottle shop, or dive mouth-first into a plate of poutine.  Brewski offers over 150 beers from just around the corner and all around the globe, and we endeavour to work our way through all of them.

Cheers to beers.
