Friday 17 Brisbane’s best food trucks and vans will all be parking their delicious selves in Bridge Street, Fortitude Valley, for the Truck in & Tuck in from 5pm. Food baby alert! Saturday 18 Take yourself to food and wine heaven. Brisbane’s Good Food & Wine Show is back for one tasty three-day weekend. Celebrate some of Australia’s best food producers, wineries and chefs. Sunday 19 Kick start your day with some cold pressed goodness at Brisbane’s newest juice and smoothie bar, Press’d. Coffee lovers can wrap their hands around quality Toby Estate Coffee and munch on delicious raw treats. Monday 20 Who needs a night off anyway? Brewski is livening up Monday nights with cheap and tasty two-for-one pizzas, meatballs and sliders. Take a friend – or don’t! Tuesday 21 Tuesday ‘nacho’ favourite day of the week? They will be if you head to Tipplers Tap for taco Tuesday! They’ve got the ultimate cheap Tuesday deal with $2 tacos ($2.50 if you want guacamole, and let’s face it, who doesn’t?) and card games. Wednesday 22 Beat the mid–week blues and tuck into two–for–one burgers at Lychee Lounge every Wednesday night. Falafel? Beef? Chicken? Take the gang and try them all! Thursday 23 Puk Espresso is offering $3 coffee for all students, Monday to Friday. If you’re not shaking, you need another cup. Friday 24 Recently opening up in Fortitude Valley, Sol Natural Foods are dishing up $10 organic pizza’s Wednesday to Friday from 5-7pm. Organic means healthy right? Saturday 25 South Bank’s hidden gem, Hoo Ha Bar, is now serving breakfast every Saturday and the word around town is their milkshakes are definitely worth the early start. Sunday 26 The Fortitude Valley Markets have a new look and a whole lot more flavour. Saturdays and Sundays from 9am-4pm will see local arts, crafts and, of course, plenty of tasty eats, filling up the Brunswick St and Chinatown malls.
