Artie & Mai are putting on their last Supper Club of the year and it’s going to be the best yet! For $75 per person including matched drinks, you’ll enjoy three courses of delicious, creative fare in the company of fellow food lovers. On the menu will be seared scallops and crispy prosciutto, carved beef sirloin and passionfruit cheesecake. Are we making you drool? Contact Artie & Mai and ask them to save you a seat!
Christmas Market | Wandering Cooks | South Brisbane
Just because we don’t get snow doesn’t mean we should miss out on Christmas markets! Wandering Cooks is hosting a festive season market of a different kind, with small batch producers selling their wares, Christmas hampers filled with local goodies and food truck eats to keep you full. Bring some friends and have wine or two at the bar while you’re shopping – it may make you feel a bit more generous!
Friday December 18
Pop Up Soiree | Sofitel Brisbane | CBD
It’s your last chance to have a drink on the classiest rooftop bar in the city, at the Sofitel’s Pop Up Soiree Bar. Head up to their rooftop terrace from 3.30pm and you’ll find 180 degree city views, luscious cocktails and share plates matched with live DJs. It’s the perfect spot for an end of year drink!
Truck It | The Brightside | Fortitude Valley
Say ‘truck it’ to that pre-Christmas diet and embrace the holiday season with all the street food you can handle at The Brightside’s Street Feeds Laneway Party. All of your favourite food trucks will be there, with drinks from the outdoor bar, so your only worry will be trying to choose between the likes of the Bun Mobile, The Bone Lorry, Micasa, Juan More Taco and Gourmet H-Dogz!
Eats & Beats | Logan Central
Eats & Beats is back! Bring yours-elf and your deer-est friends to Browns Plains to celebrate Christmas with a food truck feast. Eats & Beats have transformed into a Christmas wonderland of market village stalls, fantastic food truck eats, spectacular entertainment, carollers and even Santa Claus visits for the festive season. Don’t miss it – you might end up on the naughty list!
Saturday December 19
Festive High Tea | The Lab Bar + Restaurant | CBD
The decadent high tea at The Lab has gotten a Santa-approved makeover, combining classic scones and cupcakes with rum balls, spicy fruit mince pies and turkey and cranberry sandwiches. Book for two on a Saturday or Sunday in December (early Christmas present for Mum, hint hint) and you’ll even get a complimentary bottle of Chandon!
Sunday December 20
Breakfast and bowls | Arthur’s Green | Red Hill
Set amongst the ground of Red Hill Bowls Club, Arthur’s Green is the perfect Sunday spot for a hot cup of Belaroma coffee to accompany a pulled pork toastie with friends. For breaky, try their Mexican chilli beans with avo salsa or their avo, goats cheese, rocket and roasted almonds on sour dough and follow it up with a game of bowls on the lawn with your mates. Sounds like a great morning out to us!
Wednesday December 23
Carseldine Twilight Markets | QUT | Carsledine
The Carseldine Markets are getting festive and hosting their first ever Christmas Twilight Market!
