With the weather giving us serious Marley & Me flashbacks (no amount of rain could rival those tears), we’re single-handedly keeping T2 in business and bringing Kleenex stocks up.

Grab your umbrellas, we’re heading out.

GOMA Restaurant | Open Saturdays

Inject your Saturday with a healthy dose of culture at GOMA! Once you’ve had your fix of exhibitions, take your visit to the next level at GOMA Restaurant, now open Saturday nights. With dishes like mackerel with mussel and oyster cream, as well as chicken with black rice and black garlic, GOMA’s art isn’t limited to the galleries.

The Frond Café | New Farm

Park yourself at The Frond Café. New Farm’s newest eatery is as ethical as it is flavoursome, with produce sourced straight from local farmers. Sip a cup of Toby’s Estate coffee while you’re mulling over a menu of French toast and poached pear, spring onion waffles and panna cotta with house-made granola. The Frond Café’s passion for bettering the community doesn’t stop there, with 5% of all profits going to a rotating selection of charities!

Hellenika | Fortitude Valley

They’re one of our fave GC venues, and now the much-loved Greek taverna and bar is opening its doors at Fortitude Valley’s The Calile Hotel. Residing on the pool deck level, you can expect all your classic faves including their signature baked lamb and wood-fired pork belly while you’re lounging under the cabana with a cocktail.

OTTO | New Spring Menu

OTTO’s back with another delightful menu, and we’re practically tripping over ourselves in a mad rush to try it out. Featuring new dishes such as prosciutto with gorgonzola crema, raw market fish with rockmelon, and Hervey Bay scallops with sugar snaps ranging right through to butterflied Brisbane Valley quail and free-range pork cheek, you’d better be hungry.

Westfield Coomera

Christmas morning ain’t got nothing on this feeling – Westfield Coomera has finally opened, and with it, so many delectable eateries that we just can’t wait to get around. Say hello to The Bavarian, Barbacoa Mexican, Little Red Dumpling, Betty’s Burgers, Tapworks Bar and Grill, and Beach House Bar and Grill – just to name a few. Our bodies are ready.
