We’re talking Carolina Kitchen, Ii-Naa, Kraut ‘n’ About (ten points for whoever came up with that name) and Calamari Brothers.
Little Big House | South Bank
Bringing new life to the former Collins Place Queenslander, Little Big House will be sweeping South Bank off its feet with a new tropical oasis. From cocktails to rotisserie chickens to local beers, your new local is set for little big things.
Seoul Bistro | Sunnybank

The Daily Coffee Co | CBD
Be still our beating hearts – finally we have another great excuse to indulge our coffee habit: The Daily Coffee Co has opened in the city, and 20c from each cup is donated to local charity groups. Other excuses: the coffee is delicious, there’s locally sourced pastries, and the beautiful heritage building will have you ready to make this stop your daily.
Greenglass Wine Bar | CBD
Your fave hidden wine bar is coming out of hiding for its one year anniversary! On December 2, you can expect a mouth watering four-course menu showcasing the restaurants most popular dishes, such as half-shell scallop a la bretonne and spitchcock coq an vin. Magnifique!

Bacchus | South Brisbane
Bacch it up… The Queensland Coast Degustation is coming! To honour the award-winning restaurants fifth birthday, you’ll be treated a carefully curated seven-course celebration of seafood. Dive in from November 23 through to the end of the year. There might be plenty of fish in the sea, but only the best make it to Bacchus.
The Walrus Club | Toowong
Jazz hands at the ready… Jazz Thursday’s have taken over The Walrus Club! The Regatta’s own speakeasy is getting groovy with smooth tunes and a new summer cocktail menu, and let us tell you, these guys know their cocktails like no other. Bop on down!
Bavarian Bier Café | Various locations
There’s a lot going on at this joint, so bier there or bier square. Throughout December, you can tackle the Twelve Steins of Beer Challenge at all three restaurants. Festive Family Sundays will also take place across all venues every weekend during December, including tonnes of fun stuff for the kids. ONE MORE – Santa will be at The Bavarian Chermside every Sunday in December between 12-2pm. What a mouthful.
