We've found Brisbane's most unique function space
- 23 Jun 2017
Alright, sometimes we get a little bit jealous of Melbourne, packed to the brim with its trendy warehouses and hidden laneways. But now Brisbane’s most unique functions space has landed right in our laps, and suddenly we don’t have to be that jealous anymore! Brisbane has made room for a warehouse of its own that is set to make your next event an absolute banger (or a classy affair, whatever floats your boat). Enter: the Bromley Room. As versatile as it is mesmerising, the historic Peter’s Ice Cream Factory on Boundary Street West End has been transformed with artworks from the globally renowned David Bromley and his wife Yuge. Combine that with high ceilings and you’re instantly treated to a NYC warehouse chic feel without even leaving Brisbane. Step away from the standard Brisbane function spaces that have been rinsed and repeated more times than we care to admit and basque in the difference of this unique function space. Erupting with Bromley’s own artwork and flair, the Bromley Room will only be available for 12 months, so if you are looking for a space that is as unique as it is exclusive, this is the one for you. The warehouse is perfect for anything from photoshoots to wedding receptions, and can cater to over 250 guests for cocktail and stand up events, as well as over 150 guests for a sit down dining experience. The dishes are crafted by Queensland’s best chefs, so impressing your party is a given. We’re taking note of the kobe beef fillet with truffle, leek and wild mushroom mash, balsamic onion and port wine jus. One last kicker, all proceeds from event hire will be donated to charity. You won’t want to leave, but we can tell that you definitely want to go. The space will only be available for 12 months, so if you don’t already have an event in the works, we think visiting the space itself is excuse enough for a party. Make room in your life for the Bromley Room, this is one you don’t want to miss out on. Words by Nicole Portacha. Keeping the G&G up to date with all the latest tasty tidbits requires a lot of double lattes and espresso martinis, so we occasionally need to give out some sponsored love. But rest assured that we only work with businesses that we think are really nifty, as the sponsor for this post is! Image credit via Tuba Media Productions & First Media.
