The ultimate dining guide to Portside Wharf
Good food with even better views. Welcome to Portside Wharf.
This ain't no April fools.
Here we are at the beginning of another month! And what better way to kick off April than with a belly full of gourmand and gourmet goodness.
Now this is a seasonal menu worth making a quack about! Three Blue Ducks will be keeping you warm this Autumn with mouthwatering meals including venison tartare served with pickled quandong, smoked beetroot, Davidson plum mayo, mountain pepper and olive brik pastry, and Indonesian spiced cauliflower served with peanut sauce, gado gado, tofu, bean sprout and coriander.
Duck out for a long lunch here this weekend, you won’t regret it.
Hot tip: Their marg is a must-try!
Calling all carnivores, treat yourselves to the tangy tastes of Southern BBQ EVERY Sunday at South Bank Beer Garden. Marinated first thing Sunday morning, an hour before being wrapped and entering the smoker, rest assured the sweet and succulent tastes will be out of this world.
Chow down on an ever changing menu including beef short ribs, pork butt, jerk chicken and more with delicious sides of Carolina slaw, corn on the cob, pickles and authentic BBQ sauce. Mouth is watering!
Hot tip: No Southern BBQ is complete without a cold bevy – give their passionfruit and vanilla mojito a whirl.
Be whisked away to exotic and mysterious Tel Aviv as part of ZA ZA TA’s bar Kazba. Indulge in four rum-based cocktails using Middle Eastern cordials derived from the region’s produce, each one served in glamorous authentic vessels. Snack on vegetarian bar food reminiscent of the city’s street food, created with charcoal and wood fire to uncover new tantalising tastes. A truly magical night for all!
Hot tip: For the most authentic ZA ZA TA and Bar Kazba experience, ask the team for their recommendations.
When it comes time to wind down after a long week, we love kicking back in a cool venue with a refreshing drink in hand – and Granddad Jack’s is just that.
Whether you’re new to gin or a seasoned sipper, their gin tasting board is a must. $20 will get you 20ml each of their award-winning gins, paired with garnishes, grapefruit tonic & dry tonic. It’s the perfect way to end the week in our opinion.
Hot tip: Granddad Jack’s is BYO food, so swing by Fonzie Abbott and pick up a pizza, or assemble a cheese platter of your own.
