What to eat and drink this weekend in Brisbane

Weekends are never boring round here.
Here we are on the eve of another weekend (Feb, where did you go?!) and because we want yours to be as good as the last, we’ve made sure your taste buds are well taken care of.Â
Go forth, pals.
EAT MEÂ
Gourmet | Lobster roll & truffle fries from Lobster and Co | Clem Jones Promenade, South BankÂ
As far as lunch goes, this is about as boujee as you can get – so naturally it had to make this list. A whole confit Australian lobster tail served warm in a slightly caramelised brioche bun, finished with buttermilk slaw and truffle fries – what more could you want on a Saturday afternoon?Â
That’s right, absolutely nothing.Â
Hot tip: Add on a glass of Piper Heidsieck champagne for $20 – because why not?
Gourmand | House-made crumpets from Billykart | West EndÂ
We love an all day brunch menu here at the G&G, and Billykart has one of the best. The must-order when you get here? The house-made crumpets. Light and fluffy pillows of crumpet-y goodness, served with honeycomb butter and washed down with a coffee or two.Â
Sounds like a pretty good way to start the weekend if you ask me.
Hot tip: Ordering two servings is advised – they’re THAT good!Â
Â
DRINK MEÂ
Gourmet | A tour and tasting experience at City Winery | Fortitude ValleyÂ
If you’re in the mood for something a little fancy this weekend, treat yourself and your favourite person to a tour and tasting experience at City Winery. Enjoy a cellar door tasting and guided walk through the barrel room (tasting a wine or two!) as well as a two-course shared dinner or lunch paired with a City Winery tasting paddle.Â
Perfect for wine lovers and foodies alike!Â
Tours run daily, so visit the City Winery website to book your place.Â
Hot tip: Head ‘round the corner to Messina afterwards!Â
Gourmand | $12 Yuzu and Watermelon Margarita from Riverbar and Kitchen | Brisbane CBDÂ
International Margarita Week may be almost over, but there’s still time to get your hands on Brisbane’s best margs. Pop in to Riverbar and Kitchen this weekend and give their $12 yuzu and watermelon margarita a try – you won’t be disappointed
Hot tip: Stick around and order yourself an antipasto plate and some fried calamari. Weekend, sorted!Â
