This June 8, escape the bitter cold and lack of greenery that marks winter in Brisbane by stepping into any of the bars and restaurants below instead – World Gin Day is coming up and the G&G is ready to help you celebrate!

Whether you prefer sippin’ on gin and juice during the day or hitting the gin and tonic’s late at night, Brisbane has you covered. Here’s where you can get ginny with it this celebratory weekend.


They’re the bar that brought you Ginuary and a hottest 100 gin countdown earlier this year – there’s no way you can miss this!

To celebrate their favourite day of the year, Covent Garden will be teaming up with the world’s best gin distilleries this June 8, including Whitley Neil, Four Pillars, Citadelle, and HellFire, to provide guests with a gin-soaked tasting afternoon FREE of charge. Find out how to be first in, best dressed by heading to their Facebook event today.


A tonic for your troubles? Satisfy those gin cravings on June 8 by indulging in over twenty gin varieties thanks to the $25 World Gin Day tasting package, courtesy of the Osbourne Hotel! To keep your mind as clear as the gin you’ll be sampling, the package is further accompanied by a gourmet food menu especially curated by head chef Ben King.


Guess who’s back in the atmosphere with drops of juniper in her glassware? Hop on the gin-filled soul train and ascend to new heights at The Loft’s World Gin Day celebrations from 8:30pm! Make the most of the free entry by indulging in all the specialty gin cocktails up for grabs while swaying to the music of a live DJ.


STOKEBAR Q is celebrating with eight special cocktails featuring Four Pillars gin, including the freshly released 2019 edition of the famed Bloody Shiraz Gin! Grab a Cam’s Martinez  with Bloody Shiraz 2019, Cinzano 1757, sweet and dry vermouths, and orange bitters, and sip back and releax with primo river views.


If you’re in it to gin it, look no further than Proud Henry who are celebrating World Gin Day with a number of garnished goods this Saturday, June 8! Nab one of the few remaining tickets left to gain access to a whole host of gin makers and their latest cocktail creations, as well as live music and two delicious G&Ts. To ensure you’re not drinking on an empty stomach, Riverland is teaming up with street food kitchen Timur and Phil’s Kitchen by Dumpling Envy to give you the most gin-tastic  World Gin Day event!

From 11am-11pm, cruise on down to Eagle Street Pier to indulge in the featured four Malfy gin flavours (Originale, Con Limone, Con Arancia, and Gin Rosa) alongside live entertainment and DJ after 5pm. 


After the party comes the hangover, and there’s no better place to keep your chin up (and gin up) than at Beirne Lane’s DIY gin bar! From now until June 9, get cosy with the 24-hour venue’s Botanical Buffet, where visitors can try their hand at creating their own perfect gin cocktail from a range of distilled goodness and Australian garnishes between 4pm-6pm.
