The G&G Brisbane bucket list: November

We’ve long since abandoned any notion of bikini body nonsense. There’s just too much deliciousness out there (and a complete lack of will power in the G&G office) to ever jump on the ‘getting ready for summer’ diet bandwagon. And with our epic list of must-eats this month, you might just fall off the wagon too. #1. Crab Feast | Nantucket | Indooroopilly This Tuesday night crustacean feast at Nantucket is mid-week winner. Crab rangoon, crab cakes and you guessed it, more crab. Crab-licious! #2. Thank Truck It’s Thursdays | Wandering Cooks | South Brisbane All the food trucks you could want, in one spot, every Thursday night. Boom. #3. Passion is the Colour Red | Soleil | South Bank Belvedere vodka, vanilla and Prosecco marries rose and raspberry sorbet. The summer heat just became bearable. Pair it with a cheese platter for the perfect balmy evening. #4. Strawberries and cream overnight oats | Botanica | Red Hill Deliciously sweet and creamy oats. Why would you start your day any other way? Put down the Weetbix and get to Botanica. #5. Espresso custard donut | Gramercy Espresso | CBD Espresso. Custard. Donut. All in one glorious dough ball. What more reason do you need? #6. Tamarind fried chicken wings | Milk Factory | South Brisbane Sweet and sticky with a grapefruit and chive aioli, these delicious wings come with a time limit – the Milk Factory’s menu changes every few months so get in there and get sticky! #7. The Notorious P.I.G. | Red Hook | CBD The breakfast burger against which all other breakfast burgers pale, this egg and bacon awesomeness oozes cheese, bourbon BBQ sauce and hangover-curing deliciousness. #8. Indonesian Goat Pie | The Goat Pie Guy | Markets around town Spicy rendang beef curry meets golden pastry crust for one legendary handful of pie. #9. Raw zucchini marinara with pecan ‘meatballs’ | Press’d | Teneriffe Don’t be deterred by the ‘raw’ preceding this spag bol, these nutty balls will convert event the most carnivorous Italian lover. #10. Polenta a Tavola | Pane e Vino | CBD Soft, creamy polenta loaded with spicy pork sausage and lashings of cheese – no time for plates, just grab a fork and dig in! Diets are overrated anyway.
