The Cornerstone of the Gold Coast

Behold! The Gold Coast’s newest shopping precinct has finally opened its doors after months of avid anticipation.

Now we’re alllll about the food here at G&G, BUT Tugun’s Cornerstone Stores offers that plus so much more! Complete with an un-brie-lievable fromagerie (which has all you’ll ever need for a killer platter), a sibling store to Mermaid Beach’s The Borrowed Nursery (green-thumb heaven), some quaint little boutiques, a Pilates-yoga studio and even a hairdresser, the busy little centre has patrons lining up out the door. Though the real star of this show (and we may be biased owing to our foodie disposition) is the beautiful Stable Coffee and Kitchen which houses all of the centre’s delicious, nutritious foodie goods.

After fossicking through the shops, Stable can provide meals a plenty and a brew second to none (courtesy of Victorian-based Seven Seeds Coffee). Tuck into a brunch of potato hash with poached eggs, asparagus and a miso cashew cream sauce or mouth-watering (and slightly healthier, but completely gram-worthy) choices like Chia & Hemp Seed Pudding and delicious Buckwheat crepes. For those who enjoy their drinks more fermented than frothy, they’re also stocking bulk bottles of current it-drink Kombucha in a variety of lip-smacking flavours. What more could you want?

Open 9-4pm every day of the week, there’s no excuse not to place that sneaky Gold Coast trip that you’ve been planning for yonks at the top of your weekend to-do list.
