The city has a new burger spot!

Remember Charboys at the Boundary Street Markets in West End? Where you could get an epically meaty burger sandwiched between a soft milk bun, and golden fries on the side? Well you have to be content with reminiscing about their delicious feeds no longer, because their back, better than ever in a brand new location! From their new kiosk on Edward Street in the CBD, you’ll find Charboys dishing up all their old faves, from the cheeseburger with a hand pressed beef patty, American cheddar, tomato, onion, lettuce, ketchup and mustard to the vego lentil burger with hickory BBQ sauce. Cross the road for a Southern style chicken burger, or head over early in the day for a brekkie burger stuffed with egg, bacon, cheddar and BBQ sauce. If your hanger is at a level that won’t be satisfied with a single patty burger, try wrapping your hands around the Scorcher, pile high with two patties, double cheese, tomato, onion, lettuce, bacon, hash brown, hot sauce, jalepenos, ketchup and mustard. Fair warning, you might want to wear a bib – things are going to get messy. For those who haven’t got a comfortable lunch room to take their burgers and fries back to, you’ll find a smattering of outdoor tables out the front of the hole-in-the-wall burger spot, out of view of bustling Edward Street. One things for sure – you won’t be able to eat these bad boys on the run. Find Charboys new location at 288 Edward Street in the city, open 7 days a week for lunch, and Monday to Saturday for dinner.
