Stones Corner Festival returns for 2016

  • Food & Booze
We love a good festival, and when they involve food trucks and craft beer in bulk, we just can’t help but get so excited we’re counting down the days. And getting to enjoy all this in one of Brisbane’s best food and drink hubs at the Stones Corner Festival? Well it’s enough to have us drooling. Presented by Our Stones Corner, and hosted in and around Stones Corner Hotel, the Stones Corner Festival on will be bringing a whole lot of craft beers, ciders and wines to the ‘burb on Sunday 29 May, along with plenty of our fave food trucks and good tunes. Of course it isn’t all about stuffing our faces silly, with plenty of local businesses in the iconic precinct setting up shop to show off their wares and goods. Tasked with the job of keeping us fed for the day, some of Brisbane’s most delicious food trucks will be making an appearance thanks to the World Food Markets, with the likes of King Of The Wings, Little Back, Sate House, Greek Street Kantina, The Frying Piggy, Carolina Kitchen, Smokin’ Pizza, Reid Street Kitchen, Fiery Deli, Char Baby, Cheese & Deli Kitchen, Hett’s n Ice Shaved Ice rolling in and dishing up delicious eats. But make sure you don’t forget about the amazing Stones Corner foodie spots, who’ll all be serving up their scrumptious fare as well! It wouldn’t be a festival with out boozy indulgences, and the event promises not to leave you thirsty with producers like Batlow Cider, Burleigh Brewing, Green Beacon, Stone & Wood, Fortitude Brewing, James Squire and plenty more all on hand to help wash down those wings and burgers. While you nurse your beer or take a wander through the crafty street markets, you can listen to the sweet sounds of Aussie music legends Taxiride, The Badloves, Halfway, Mexico City, Tyrone Noonan, and Triple J Unearth’d Donnelle Brooks. Talk about an epic day out! Entry is FREE, leaving you more pocket money for the real business of eating and drinking (the way it should be) with the gates open from 12pm to 8pm and the party continuing after 8pm in the Stones Corner Hotel. So you’ve got almost the whole day to eat enough to feed a small village, listen to fine tunes, and enjoy some good company at the Stones Corner Festival, Sunday 29 May.
