Something New and Tasty is Coming… Make No Bones About It!
13 Nov 2013
Do you like art? Do you like coffee? Are you somewhere in Brisbane right now? If you tick all three boxes then you better keep on reading, if not, shame on you! From the team who brought you The Ponycat in New Farm, Kettle & Tin in Paddington, and Cobbler in West End comes the coolest and most colourful espresso bar Brisbane has ever seen. Bear Bones Espresso on McLachlan Street in Fortitude Valley is famous for two things: the graffiti art by Asa Boardman that pops off the walls, and the exceptional coffee and food prepared for the caffeine addict and food lover at heart. When entering through the mysterious roller door, you’ll realise just how different this new espresso bar world really is. Beakers hang from the lights and incredible graffiti of bears and colourful designs line the walls. Built on a foundation of blood, sweat, and beers (well really coffee), Bear Bones will jump straight into the growing coffee scene and have given the business an edge by starting to roast their own beans in early 2014! If you’re hungry, there is a range of cheap and delicious nibbles on offer. The eats include avocado on toast, fresh salads, quiches, sandwiches, cakes, muffins and breads. Bear Bones Espresso are keen to support the locals too, with room to host event such as music events, CD launches, artwork, and private and corporate functions. Open from Monday-Saturday from 7am-2pm, come on down for a relaxed vibe, damn good coffee, brilliant art and check out the new bone on the block!
