Sip your way through 100 craft spirits at the Indie Tasting!

If you’re serious about your booze and appreciate top notch spirits, we have some good news for you! The Indie Tasting is coming to Lefty’s on Sunday 29 May and it’s bringing over 100 artisan and independent premium spirits for you to get your lips around. To showcase and celebrate the huge array of craft spirits on the market, the Indie Tasting will provide an afternoon of free tastings of a wide range of delicious spirits from quality independent brands. As well as tasting some seriously unique sips and getting inspiration for your next signature cocktail, you could gain insider knowledge on the boutique spirit world thanks to the free seminars and masterclasses that will be held over the afternoon. In addition to all of this, there will be over 30 master distillers for you to chat to and ask everything you’ve ever wanted to know about what it takes to make that perfect drop. Just don’t blame us if go home wanting to quit your day job and start distilling your own spirits… There will be nothing but the best with spirits from brands such as Plantation Rum, Casa Mariol, Mancino Vermouths, Beenleigh, Tequila Corralejo, Zuidam Distillery, Pure Scot, Melbourne Moonshine, The West Winds, Four Pillars, Flor de Cana, Ocho Tequila, Del Maguey Mezcal, Mr Black, Extinto Mezcal, Cargo Cult, Mezcal Gin, Mexcal Burrito Fiestero, Husk Distillers, Hippocampus and many more for you to sip on. There’ll even be a few that haven’t been put on the market yet! Once you’ve sampled all those spirits (well, maybe not all 100 if you want to make it through the afternoon) and gained all the insider knowledge there is to know, you can kick back in the Mermaid Bar and enjoy some live music.
