I’m Fondue of You at W Brisbane

If you’re looking for a date night idea, look no further than this indulgent experience!

Available from Friday-Sunday until September 20 at the W Hotel, you can snuggle up and feast on a selection of bread, marshmallows, and fruit dipped into your choice of melted cheese or chocolate.  If you want to take your dessert to the next level, you have the option to spike the chocolate fondue with espresso martini, brandy Alexander flavours, whisky or Kahlua. The hardest part will be the choice between cheese or chocolate…

Treasury Seafood Specials  

There’s only one thing we love more than seafood, and that’s seafood that doesn’t break the bank…

This month, seafood fanatics are in for a treat: Treasury Brisbane is offering a sweet deal, making world-class seafood more than affordable. For just $29.99 you can indulge in a juicy 220-gram rib fillet topped with grilled slipper bugs, chips and salad at the Kitchen at Treasury. Or, if you’re in the mood for Asian cuisine, opt for the fragrant beef and prawn sizzle plate at Fat Noodle. The offer will run until September 17, so you have plenty of time to make a visit (or two). 

Brisbane Festival 

Brisbane Festival is back, baby! From September 4 to September 26, the festival will have an action-packed lineup full of music, theatre, and cultural events. Think giant outdoor installations, intimate street concerts, and light shows. Lobster Day at One Fish Two Fish

Friday, September 25 marks Lobster Day, and our friends at One Fish Two Fish are rolling out a menu devoted to the luscious stuff!

For just $79, dig into three courses of lobster-centric dishes, starting with a classic lobster bisque with a pastry disc, followed by a brioche roll with lobster, sriracha mayo, and vibrant scampi caviar, and grilled western rock lobster on house-made tagliatelle with tarragon butter to finish.

The Lobster Day menu will be available for dinner from 5 pm on Wednesday, September 23 and Thursday 24, and for lunch from midday on Friday, September 25–head here to make your booking, or give the team a call on 3391 7680.

Gigs & Picnics 

An event that combines the two best things in life – music and food. On Saturday, September 26, Brisbane Botanic Gardens will be home to a mini food and music festival, Gigs & Picnics. 

From 12pm-4pm, you can expect free tunes and some of Brisbane’s best food trucks. You also have the option to pre-order a picnic basket full of goodies from The Gardens Club.  These clear September skies were designed for picnicking, so grab a blanket and get cosy in the gardens…

Honour Ave Cellars

We love welcoming a new wine bar, and the newest addition to Graceville has us particularly excited!

Honour Ave Cellars will only house eight guests at a time, so grab your nearest and dearest wine-lovers and explore over 2800 bottles from 100 different winemakers from Australia and abroad. We all know wine and cheese go hand in hand, so don’t miss out on the extensive cheese and charcuterie selection Honour Ave Cellars has to offer when they open the doors this month.

Brisbane Gin Festival 

Brisbane’s annual Gin Festival has returned, and is not to be missed. 

Spend the day the best way possible, sampling some of the very best local, national and international gins. You’ll get the chance to peruse the gin stalls, mingle with the producers, and sample bespoke cocktails, G&Ts, and tasty food on offer. Oh, and dogs are welcome too! Nodo Donuts Carindale Pop-Up 

A trip to Carindale isn’t complete without a visit to the Nodo pop-up. Until September 3, you will be able to find Nodo’s sweet treats on Level G of the shopping centre (outside Coles). Their delicious donuts are gluten-free and baked, not fried, making them the perfect guilt-free snack. 

Fuel up before a shopping session, or refuel after!
