Pinot Grigio Popsicles

There will pinot heatstroke this Spring, thanks to Cellarmasters.

If you thought making popsicles was an activity for kids, think again. Put away the lemonade and pull out the pinot grigio, because we’re about to make some refreshing snacks that look just as pretty as they taste.

  • 1 bottle of fresh pinot grigio, like Wordsmith’s Bed of Roses pinot grigio
  • 1 tablespoon caster sugar
  • 2 mangoes
  • 3 passionfruits, pulp removed
  1. Pour half the pinot grigio into a large jug and add the sugar.
  2. Stir until completely dissolved.
  3. Add remaining wine and stir to combine.
  4. Set aside for a few minutes.
  5. Add half of the fruit to your popsicle moulds.
  6. Pour in enough pinot grigio mixture to fill each mould to about half full.
  7. Place in the freezer for 30 minutes or until partially frozen.
  8. Insert a paddle-pop stick into the centre of each mould.
  9. Add the remaining fruit.
  10. Divide remaining pinot grigio mixture among moulds.
  11. Place in the freezer until frozen.
