Don’t be stricken, chicken – a new buffalo wing joint is coming to town.

Just when we thought we had to fly the coop in order to indulge in quality American-style buffalo wings paired with German brews, the Bavarian has gifted us with Winghaüs, set to open on Edward street this spring!

Boasting a new dining concept that is part American sports bar, part German beer hall, and wing-packed, Winghaüs is promising to make the lives of Brisbane foodies a whole lot saucier thanks to their range of stunning range of US-style chicken wings.

Step into the American-inspired diner upon its completion in late September, and you’ll be greeted with bright neon lights, hints of Bavarian heritage, and a whole host of sports memorabilia alongside 30 TVs and 40 beers on tap.

Now let’s crunch some numbers – Winghaüs is set to offer eight irresistible variations of sauced chicken wings that one in enjoy in servings of 10, 15, 20, 50, or even 100 for those looking to wing big.

As for the flavours, you can grab your buffalo wings, fried wings or boneless chicken tenders doused in traditional hot sauce, chipotle, habanero, Texas BBQ, teriyaki, Korean BBQ, and (for the brave out there) afterburner or face-melting sauce!

These guys ain’t trippin’ when it comes to dipping either, and are set to provide all the dips you know and love. Think classic blue cheese, ranch dressing, honey and mustard, garlic, and the restaurant’s very own haüs sauce to enjoy alongside the menu’s seemingly endless range of burgers and sides.

What’s an American diner’s buffalo wings without their bitter half – beer! Tapping into the Bavarian side of their dining concept, Winghaüs will have no shortage of delicious ales, including  Löwenbräu, Paulaner, Franziskaner, Spaten, Hofbräu, and the odd prized Belgian brew by Hoegaarden.

Making up the rest of the bar tap list will be favourites like Budweiser, Stella Artois, and Goose Island alongside some sneaky cocktails, including espresso martinis, Aperol spritz, and more!

Feel the wind beneath your chicken wings, Brisbane? Then be sure to fly into Winghaüs when they open this September.
