The grand dame of the Valley has had a facelift (tastefully done, of course) and has been restored to her former glory. 

Not bad for a lady in her eighties! Whether your ideal night out is a pub feed with the mates or a three-course dinner with wine in hand, The Waterloo has you sorted.

Sure, she’s a pub, but The Waterloo is so much more – and the menu demonstrates this. There are the pub classics, like chicken schnitzel (if you don’t love a schnitty you’re a liar!) but the menu also boasts dishes like middle eastern lamb shoulder (hello sumac yogurt and chianti jus? Fancyyyy), 12 hour slow braised beef brisket (stop it) or twice cooked pork belly with sticky black sauce (SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY).

Craving something sweet? Leave the sticky date and stale brownies for the retirement home – zest up your night with citrus tart with mojito sorbet and fresh mint. Going without a curry on a Wednesday? We’re having naan of that. Waterloo has your curry craving sorted with two curries plus rice, pickles and a trusty naan bread for just $29.95.

One meal not enough? We feel you. At the G&G we believe in eat early, eat often – so it’s lucky Waterloo has two and three course dinners specials on Thursdays. Get stuck in son.

Sunday is a day of rest and there’s no exception at The Waterloo. Kick back with their winter warmer specials, where the hardest decision you should have to make is whether you want to chow down on lamb shank, pork cutlet or beef cheeks.
