No crying over spilt milk - Cowch is now open for breakfast!

  • Food & Booze
In the past month we have been busy eating our way through our list of the best breakfast in Brisbane. Galavanting across the countryside in search for the perfect eggs benny, drinking countless breakfast smoothies, and eating stacks (and stacks) of scrumptious pancakes, we were slowly coming to accept that we were closing in on experiencing all the breakfast delights in town. But on September 1st, everything we thought we knew will change. That’s right folks, Brisbane’s sweetest restaurant, Cowch, will be releasing a mouthwatering breakfast menu that is promising to be the perfect blend of naughty and nice. These amazingly experimental breaky sweets will force us to turn the udder cheek to our humble scrambled eggs and moo-ve on. Everyday from 7am Cowch will cater for all types of breakfast consumers (including you, extra-hot-medium-soy-chai-latte-without-froth). From the absolute decadence of a Canadienne Breakfast Waffle Bowl featuring bacon ice cream and maple syrup, to the health-nut’s ultimate daydream – Acai Bowls packed with superfood-goodness, Cowch have you covered. Moreover, they almost desert the nifty breakfast smoothie, offering a range of fabulously cheeky breaky cocktails instead. Get ready to flaunt your Bloody Orange Mary – a soothing concoction of blood orange sorbet, Absolut Citron, bitters and spice. Oh yes. As cherry to the cake, we present to you Cowch’s supreme Champagne Brunch. Keeping their philosophy of staying sweet (yet slightly naughty) the Champagne Brunch spoils each guest to a grand selection of sweet treats, bubbles and coffee. There is no possible alternative for a Saturday morning indulgence. Have you herd enough? We have. It’s dining time. Words by Julia Hulbert
