Bring on the birthday bash as New Farm Confectionery celebrates eight years of indulgent sweet treats. From 9am on Saturday, July 23, pop bubbles and eat cake with talented confectioners and chocolatiers at their flagship store in Newstead (for free!)

Owner and founder Jodie Neilson dreamt up New Farm Confectionery on a balcony in France and brought back her take on French cuisine and handcrafted chocolate. Eight years later, the flagship store is pumping out hoards of honeycomb and never-ending batches of nougat on the daily.

For those who want a little more NF goodness in their life (who doesn’t?), you can book your spot in the Birthday VIP workshop and experience New Farm Confectionery’s secrets straight from the head chef. Tickets are available from $70pp.

Sweetening the birthday celebrations even more, the Queen of Chocolate and Masterchef guest judge Kirsten Tibballs will hold three tasting sessions with tickets available for $50pp. Kirsten will guide you through a tasting of Belgian Callebaut chocolate and share her tips from a lifetime of patisserie magic.
