New café brings bliss to Brisbane food scene

  • Food & Booze
Brisbane has embraced the health food trend, with the opening of Coco Bliss Superfood Bar on October 19. The new venues will have gym-gear clad ladies and mindful-eating men queuing at the door thanks to their healthy wholefoods full of nutritious ingredients and fresh flavours. Before you start thinking it’s all leafy greens and protein shakes (it is a little bit…), rest assured they have desserts that could fool even the most vegan-opposed patrons into having a bite! Candice, Mellita and John are the team behind Coco Bliss, and it is their latest venture following Candice and Mellita’s work with Happy Little Dumplings and Lazy Elephant. The menu is 80% organic and provides many vegan, raw, and gluten-free options for diners. Whether you are an acai bowl fiend or a sucker for a raw snickers, you won’t feel any guilt for your indulgences here! The relaxed vibe and simple food-focus is just what Brisbane needs this summer, and the health hub will undoubtedly be a hit amongst locals who don’t want to trek to similar, further places such as Primal Pantry. Coco Bliss Superfood Bar is open seven days from 6:30am to 4:30pm at various locations in Brisbane. Lucy-Ellen Steadman
