Ready the stretchy pants, because she’s finally here!

Gone are the days of trekking down to the Goldie to get your Milky Lane fix, because this burger icon has opened up shop at Gasworks in Newstead, so it’s time to say farewell to the diet.

If you haven’t been acquainted with Milky Lane yet, they’re loved by many for their seriously OTT burgers and decadent milkshake-style cocktails, and their Brisbane store will be no different.

So, let’s get down to business. When it comes to burgs, they’ve thought of it all. Do your Kanye best with the Chic-Kanye which sees crispy southern fried chicken paired with maple smoked bacon, double American cheese, Carolina slaw, butter leaf lettuce, ML’s BBQ sauce and habanero pineapple relish. If you’re looking for the ultimate bacon cheeseburger, get both hands ready to handle the Kevin Bacon because all great things come in twos. Double wagyu beef patties, double American cheese and double crispy maple smoked bacon, topped with ML’s BBQ sauce, truffle aioli and caramelised onion. Cue salivation.

Ain’t nothing but a side thing when it comes to their delicious range of sides which honestly could be the main event. Get fried with their beer battered or sweet potato chips, or if loaded fries are more your thing then Milky Lane’s iteration with bacon bits, shredded cheese and cheese gravy is right up your alley. You can also find bacon mac and cheese croquettes (or mushroom based for our veg friends), and pop-korn chicken.

Milky Lane’s milkshake cocktails bring everyone to the yard with flavours like Reeces Peanut Butter martini, Kit Kat choc fudge booze shake or the slightly more refined, but still decadent AF, salted caramel espresso martini.

When it comes to burgers, Brisbanites know best so it’s only fitting that Milky Lane has finally come to town.
