Stones Corner Festival | Stones Corner

It’s time to rock ‘n’ roll your way into the fifth edition of the Stones Corner Festival! With a killer line-up of Queensland bands, a drool-worthy food selection, wine and beer from Australia’s best producers and good vibes – Stones Corner will be transformed into the ultimate family day out on May 6th!

Fish Lane Festival | South Brisbane

After you’ve recovered from your food coma post Stones Corner Festival it’s time to get down to South Brisbane and do it all again! The third annual Fish Lane Festival is making waves for all the right reason. Chill out in the Tanqueray Gin Garden, sip on Colonial beers and stuff your face with delicious morsels from Ol’ School, Julius, the Fox and Billykart Bar amongst other Fish Lane vendors. Work off your burg with a boogie to live music and DJs before checking out artwork from emerging Brisbane artists on May 12thfrom 12pm.

Wine, Cheese, Mimosas | Treasury | CBD

Forget Friends re-runs and facemasks, this is one Friday wine night you’re going to want to ditch the pyjamas for! Recognising our love of wine and cheese will never waver, Treasury have return with the next instalment of Wine and Cheese in the beautiful courtyard on May 12th, this time adding Mimosas to the mix! This will sell out, so to avoid getting cheesed off book tickets now!

Autumn Menu | Ristorante La Famiglia| Woolloongabba

It’s time to hang up that pipedream of a bikini body and embrace reality, there’s nothing that feels better than pasta tastes and we’re totally okay with us. Its time start carb-loading for winter, and our wonderful friends at Ristorante La Famiglia have announced their autumn/winter menu just in time. Pig out on porchetta, ogle orecchiette con broccoli and knock back more gnocchi than you can handle. Nonna’s got you now fam.

Chefs Dinner | Old Tom Restaurant & Bar | Broadbeach

Let Old Tom take you by the hand and journey from the beach to the mountains with the signature Chef dinner. The Broadbeach bar is famous for its dedication to gin (hello black gin!) and its super luxe menu. Start with pacific oysters, then move on to SA squid and cauliflower with river herbs. After that savour mouth-watering lamb with saltbush and charred cucumber before diving into a Valrhona chocolate tart. We don’t need to say anymore, you’ve already booked in right?

Blute’s Bar | Fortitude Valley

Bringing back old-school pub vibes Blute’s Bar is opening below speakeasy/boogie heaven Black Bear Lodge. The joint project between the BBL and Lucky Egg teams will offer 14 taps of beer, a damn sexy wine list, live music and fixtures from some of the biggest American sporting codes on the big screens. They’ll also be converting you to the Parmie Army with their chicken or eggplant parmies, amongst other pub classics. Move over cocktail lounges, Blute’s is bringing back the 80s pub and we couldn’t be more excited.

Indie Spirits Tasting | Lefty’s Old Time Music Hall | Petrie Terrace

Let’s hear it for the little guys! With over 30 exhibitors showcasing more than 100 craft spirits prepare your body (and your liver) for an in depth look into the world of independent spirit making. With free bar snacks (winning!), samples and seminars from just $35pp, novice or an industry pro – let the good times be-gin May 27th.

Arctic by Customs House | Customs House | CBD

Grab your mates and rug up – it’s finally getting cold out here! Arctic by Customs House is back for its second year, so dress to impress and get ready to drink in views of the river as well as signature Belvedere cocktails from the comfort of your private igloo. Snack on Polish inspired food like baby Kransky, smoked duck rillettes and venison pies. Arctic by Customs House kicks off on May 10th, Friday – Sunday.

Noosa Food & Wine Festival | Noosa Heads

There are few things that get us excited as Noosa Food & Wine Festival. The adults equivalent to the EKKA, imagine three days of lush wines, gourmet bites and entertainment from over 200 chefs, producers and winemakers – heaven, right? Squeeze in a couple of sneaky beach trips and spend up big on Hastings Street, it’s a little slice of paradise. Running from May 17th-20th, get your tickets to miss out on guaranteed FOMO.
