Market stall of the week: Roza's Gourmet Sauces

While on the hunt for a delicious dip to go with our fresh market bread and cheese during our latest market trip, we happened upon Roza’s Gourmet Sauces where our need for a savoury, creamy topping was more than met. The choices of dips, pestos and sauces we found in front of us threw us into a fit of indecision with expensive consequences. Would the creamy artichoke and garlic dip or the roast pumpkin and chilli better complement our sourdough and aged cheddar? Did we have enough crackers at home to justify getting an olive tapenade too? Dinner plans were thrown into disarray as we mulled over how well the Thai pesto would go on a salmon cutlet with sweet potato fries and mango mayonnaise (yes, mango! And it is as fruity and delicious as it sounds). Expiry dates were checked on the sweet chilli and ginger hot sauce to be sure it would last until January BBQs (it would, but who are we kidding, it will be gone within the week). Sundried tomato mustard somehow found its way into our green bag just because it was sundried tomato mustard. Can you see how the trip became costly?
