Brisbane's best vegan eats
Ah, ‘the dining struggle’.
Cup-bored of basic plant-based cuisine?
Alejandro Cancino, previously of three-hatted Brisbane restaurant, Urbane, has opened a brand-new restaurant in Kuluin, serving vegan eats that’ll satisfy even the most avid carnivore.
Championing an impressive range of flavoursome and ethical dishes, Lola’s Pantry is the first of Alejandro’s Sunshine Coast venues, and uses local produce as well as vegan cheese and condiments from Alejandros’s company, Fenn Foods.
While the venue is meat-free, Alejandro hopes to avoid labels and keep the focus on the quality of food – which is great, but we’re labelling it as incredibly delightful, regardless.
A vegan fine-dining experience is not out of the question either, with talk of a plant-based fine-diner to come for the Sunshine Coast.
Lola’s Pantry is open for breakfast and lunch from 8:30am to 3:30pm, Tuesday–Saturday, with a feast-style menu available on Saturday nights and a Friday night comfort food menu.
