La Costa Restaurant to open this Friday!

We’ve collected the full La Costa set.

Late 2020 and early 2021 brought us La Costa Bar, Cielo Rooftop, and La Valle wine bar, and tomorrow (Friday, February 5) marks the final opening of the Valley mega-venue… Introducing La Costa Restaurant.

While the other La Costa venues offer tasty Italian-inspired nibbles to be enjoyed with drinks, La Costa Restaurant is far and away the most food-focused of all… Dishing up dinner from Wednesday to Sunday and lunch from Friday to Sunday, La Costa Restaurant’s take on coastal Italian cuisine is something to behold…

Kicking off with antipasti, the menu features the likes of arancini, charcuterie, and gin and beetroot cured salmon, before a banging pizza, pasta, and mains section. Our top pizza picks have to be the Basil Italia (pesto, fior di latte, chargrilled zucchini and caramelized onion) and the Roma Capitale (olive oil, thinly sliced potato, rosemary, pancetta and fior di latte), but we’re more than happy to taste them all…

La Costa–meaning ‘the coast’ in Italian–celebrates the best of the ocean, with mains like a whole baby barramundi with salsa verde and fennel and citrus salad, and a stunning Moreton Bay bug spaghetti in a shellfish broth. The dessert selection is sure to grab your eye, and those tiramisu bomboloni will probably steal your heart, too.

As for drinks, cocktails have been specially curated by the team behind Australia’s #1 bar (Sydney’s Maybe Sammy) joining Italian wine varietals, craft beers and boutique spirits on an intriguing list.

La Costa Restaurant (and the rest of the gang) can be found on Brunswick St in the Valley, in a stunning multi-storey white building. Online bookings are now open–make yours here

Keeping The G&G up to date with tasty tidbits requires a lot of lattes and espresso martinis, so we occasionally collaborate with local businesses we love, like this one. To see how we can help you out and to learn more about our food-crazy audience, head here.
