It's time to pig out! For mental awareness

Grab your forks and some friends, and get ready for the annual Pig For Awareness spit roast at Jamie’s Espresso Bar. Wesley Vasile, founder of the Mental Awareness Foundation started this inaugural evening to bring people together over some great food, for an even greater cause. After tragically losing two close friends to suicide, Wesley began the Mental Awareness Foundation to bring attention and awareness towards suicide prevention. One night a year, Jamie’s happily open their doors to support this cause and invite everyone down for a relaxed evening, and a collective salivation over the succulent, roasting pig. The evening, which serves as a precursor to the Walk for Awareness the foundation holds on the 12th of October, will also offer an enormous meat tray that will be raffled to raise further funds for the cause. Drinks and roast will kick off at 6:30, so pop in or register your attendance here.
