It’s Doughnut Time!

There are regular doughnuts – and then there are Doughnut Time doughnuts. Opening in Fortitude Valley 0n February 12, in a hole-in-the-wall store squeezed into Alfredo’s Pizza, Doughnut Time is here to fulfill all our doughy dreams. The new food baby of Damien Griffiths, owner of the nearby Limes Hotel, Alfred and Constance and Kwan Brothers, Doughnut Time is all about hand-dipped artisan doughnuts. We’ve been drooling over their Facebook feed for months in anticipation of the opening and now we can finally drool on the real deal. doughnut time No boring cinnamon wheels here, instead you’ll find perfectly glazed and sprinkled doughnuts in wild flavours like maple bacon, peanut butter and jelly, rainbow nerds, popcorn and salted caramel. Stuffed or just regular, they’re enough to make a dessert lover’s heart sing. Crème brulee comes stuffed with custard and coated in crispy caramel while lemon meringue has a fluffy toasted meringue on top. There will be 40 irresistible flavours rotating on the menu in total, all as delicious as each other. Which just means you’ll have to make 40 trips in to try them all. The doughnut paradise will be open day and night and you’ll even be able to get them delivered to the Valley and the CBD along with pizzas from Alfredo’s!
