Huskk Café Heading for Grange
They’re coming out of their shell, and they’ve been doing just fine.
On this week’s episode of Granger Things, Eggo is no longer 11am’s obsession. Huskk is a seasonal plot twist that’s set to plant its roots in Grange from October 8, creating a new go-to for locals and Brisbane brunch goers alike.
Brisbane folk Tracey and Alastair Macpherson are the owners you’ll know and probably already love. Their combined background in hospitality is as extensive as it is global, as Alastair has been Head Chef of Michelin starred restaurants, with Tracey being a Michelin starred restaurant manager overseas. They’re now very ready to bring their worldly knowledge back to Brisbane, so get keen!
Huskk will be an earthy, contemporary space that’s open everyday for your fix of food that nourishes the soul. A strong focus on fresh, seasonal produce will shine through in an ever-changing menu, making for a place where you can sit down, eat humble.
Kicking things off with a modest menu, you can expect to indulge in the likes of gingerbread pancakes with whey butterscotch sauce and bunya nut crumble, potato and leek hash with crisp Bangalow pancetta, poached egg and wilted bower spinach, and slow cooked chilli and garlic mushrooms with truffle cream and crispy polenta.
Sweet tooth’s, bite into this – their cabinet will have daily freshly baked goodies including handmade bagels, cookies, cakes and more!
For all coffee fiends, Fortitude Valley coffee roasters, Bear Bones, will be brewing in every cup you can handle.
We’ve got a hunch that Huskk is going to go down smoothly.
