Come for the feast, stay for the Banter (and, let’s be real, another feast). Brisbane’s newest watering hole has opened its doors in Kangaroo Point, and not gonna lie, we’re reel excited.

Banter Bar and Seafood is set to turn the tide on after-work drinks, with the revamped Queenslander pairing beach vibes and local seafood cooked to perfection.

Banter Kangaroo Point What’s brewing in the bar, you ask? Top-notch craft beers will flow for the perfect summer afternoon buddy to your seafood, along with a long list of wines, cocktails, and enticing blends. Pull on those stretchy pants and prepare to seafood and eat it – this menu is not for the faint of heart.

The kitchen’s manned by Daniel Miletic, previously of Burleigh Heads’ The Fish House and Brisbane’s Red Hook.

If you’re fishing for seafood done right, Chef Miletic’s your guy, and the menu sure shows it. From a posh fish finger sandwich (hello, childhood dreams) to golden, battered cod, one thing’s for sure: fish ‘n’ chips just got a touch up.
