Seafood restaurant One Fish Two Fish has just announced that their highly popular Red Fish Blue Fish dinners are back, this time with renowned local chef Philip Johnson in tow.
Alongside being the big fish at e’cco Bistro, Philip is also famous for his iconic cookbooks (six in all!) that exemplify modern Australian cuisine – a finesse that he’ll be combining with One Fish Two Fish head chef Daniel Miletic’s coastal European delights for their Red Fish Blue Fish dinner on Wednesday, June 26!
Far from fishy, guests who book this exclusive $75 experience can expect their palates to be rewarded with flavours spanning from the French Riviera to Amalfi Coast, with an additional $45 also earning ticket holders the added perk of matching wines for each course on the night.
After enjoying a breezy pink peach spritz upon arrival, diners who have managed to snag one of the sixty seats available for this dinner will be greeted with fresh entrees to share, including local spanner crab with linguine, rocket, pecorino and black pepper, and a delightful razor prawn dish swimming in ravioli, dill, lemon, and caper butter.
Still biting? Next on the Red Fish Blue Fish menu are the restaurant’s stunning seafood mains, such as the braised Blue Eye trevalla with fennel, tomato, saffron, and Sicilian olives, and cavolo nero and potato gratin dish served with butter lettuce salad.
As the night winds to a close, One Fish Two Fish plans to end on a sweet note with their famous banana tart topped with rum and raisin ice cream (and a healthy dose of Dutschke Old Codger Tawny Port on the side!).
