Brisbane, it’s time to toss those gym buddies aside (anyone who encourages you to run isn’t really a friend, anyway) and dial up those gin buddies. Come January, West End’s Covent Garden will raise your spirits – literally, off the shelf – with Ginuary. That’s right: Dry January is officially dead, and we’re about to have a hell of a wake. Line up your Ubers and prepare to be gone with the gin on January 25, with Ginuary running from 6pm. Covent Garden’s kicking off an epic long weekend with a spectacular cocktail event, dedicated to exploring the different varieties of our favourite spirit. Oh, and did we mention it’s just $39pp? Count. Us. Gin. Set in their breezy garden space, Brisbane’s biggest gin bar will stir up a summer evening of Archie Rose Signature Dry Gin cocktails and gincredible canapés, with tantalizing bites including juniper-smoked salmon, manchego profiteroles, and pork dumplings with black vinegar. Oh, and these gin genies know you’ve got a big weekend ahead, so they’re including a cocktail and two hours of canapés with every ticket. Tickets can be purchased here.
