Guide To Broadbeach's Best Bars | Gourmand & Gourmet

G&G's Broadbeach bar crawl

Beachy keen for a booze-filled crawl through some of Broadbeach’s finest? Consider the G&G your designated guide!

We may be heading to the Gold Coast folks, but rest assured there’ll be no waters involved.

When it comes to Broachbeach, we’re putting the hops in bar hopping, and the crawl in pub crawl – seriously, if you make it through this list still standing, we’ll be very impressed.

Aloha Bar & Dining | 18 Main Place

What’s the Stitch? Start the night in true tiki fashion at this beautiful (and well-stocked) bar, brimming with top-shelf bottles just waiting for you to say mah-hello. For those looking to begin with a bang, look no further than Aloha’s Mr. Bombastic cocktail, sporting Wray and Nephew overproof rum, vanilla-infused rum, pink citrus and guava soda.

Molly Malones | 97 Surf Parade

What’s a bar crawl without some luck of the Irish? We’re giving you the greenlight to craic onto Molly Malone’s delish Irish-inspired cocktails, including the popular Black Barrel Old Fashion or The Nutty Irishmen, a rich combination of Baileys (the wino mum’s drink of choice), Frangelico, Kahlua, milk and cream.

Kiyomi | The Star Gold Coast

Tonight may be all about the alcohol, but don’t let that stop you from sipping. that. tea.

Case in point: The Star Gold Coast’s Japanese restaurant lounge bar Kiyomi, which serves a sublime cocktail-in-disguise call the Japanese Teapot, spiked with Momo liqueur, strawberry, cranberry, and a dash of lime.

The Loose Moose | 75 Surf Parade

In the wise words of Lizzo, if you’re out here gettin’ loose, you gotta blame it on the juice – and the Pina Colada with pineapple juice at The Loose Moose is especially good! Enjoy theirs blended with Havana 3-year-old white rum, Malibu, and coconut cream with the requisite cherry on top.

Having been voted the Gold Coast’s Best Burger Bar in 2018, The Loose Moose is also the perfect place to sneakily sober up before hitting up your next destination!

A Bloke In A Bar | 71 Victoria Avenue

Don’t leave the guy lonely, crawlers! Grab the mates and head into this all-American bar sporting refreshing craft ales and its own flagship range of beers crafted by owner and former footy player Denan Kemp. Be sure to nab their crisp lager with mild hops before kicking on.

Soho Place |2173 Gold Coast Highway

Now’s the time to hop in a cab and head down the Gold Coast highway to the Soho Place, where London’s calling through its bright red telephone booth entrance.

Since you’ve been transported to the land of double deckers, there’s no better place to double park it with a delish G&T in one hand, and the bar’s signature Bee Martini in the other, made with manuka honey vodka, kahlua, cold drip espresso, and a honeycomb rim.

The Bavarian Broadbeach | 5 Oracle Boulevard

Let’s get some German ales in your hands, ja? We froth that.

Attempt to avoid the hangover you’re bound to wake up with tomorrow with The Bavarian’s hair-of-the-dog style biers, including a solid Lowenbrau original lager or their tasty Bavarian Diesel, a dark lager with a dash of coca cola thrown in.
