Get in a little Food Therapy

We’ll take any excuse to dine out but as far as reasons to splurge on a meal go, Food Therapy definitely takes the cake. This unique event is the genius of three of Brisbane’s top chefs and is certain to be a delicious, unbeatable dining experience for an amazing cause. Award-winning chefs Matt Wood of Stokehouse Q, Jake Nicolson of Blackbird and Ben Williamson of Gerard’s Bistro are joining forces in the kitchen to bring you a sensational 6 course meal, each paired with a glass of wine to complement the flavours of every bite. The menu is being kept a secret so guests will have to guess which meals were the work of each chef but one thing we know for sure is that it’s bound to be a mouth-watering night. While you’re digesting you can take part in an array of games, raffles and auctions that will be taking place throughout the evening with all money raised going to Beyond Blue, including all proceeds from your ticket. The chefs chose to honour Beyond Blue because they realise the importance of mental wellbeing, with mental illness being a prevalent issue that touches all of our lives, especially those working in high-pressure industries such as hospitality. This unmissable evening will be taking place in Stokehouse Q’s stunning riverside location on Thursday 9 June. Tickets are $250pp and you can rest assured that the money will be going to a better cause than just filling your stomach. Seats are limited and we are predicting that Brisbane foodies and philanthropists alike will be flocking to get a seat so make sure to book yours before they all fill up, booking forms are available here.
