To be honest, we didn’t think there’d be a cloak worth getting excited about unless it was wrapped around Kit Harrington (amirite?), but lo and behold, The Cloakroom has us reevaluating our whole wardrobe.

The team at this luxe Elizabeth Street menswear boutique have fashioned up a whole new bar experience. And no, bar’s not a typo. ‘Shop ‘til you drop’ just took on a brand new meaning.

Bespoke, intimate, and seriously unique, The Cloakroom Bar is an experience you won’t find elsewhere in Brisbane. Hey, even finding it is an adventure – no signs will lead you to this secret spot, which sits hidden above a laneway fire escape.

Once you’re in, you’re golden – but don’t peer around for a drinks list. From its speakeasy style to shelves upon shelves of premium spirits, this spot offers the best, with the bartending staff shaking up every drink to order.

That’s right: every guest inside The Cloakroom Bar enjoys personal table service, with bartenders serving up drinks based on your own preferences (goodbye, sneaky sprig of dill) and aversions to tequila/cognac/insert other spirit here.

Not in the cocktail spirit? These guys also offer up an impressive range of champagne, beer and wine.

You’ll find The Cloakroom bar at 1/ 215 Elizabeth Street. Opening hours are Tuesdays to Sundays from 5pm to midnight.
