It’s not wabbit season, but it is Regional Flavours season - and you’ll want to meet up for the festival’s ultimate carnivorous playground!

Love meat? Join The Hunting Club – a celebration of Queensland’s miraculous meat and livestock industry.

Presented by Australian Good Meat and The Charming Squire, you’ll be roaming free-range in a dedicated section hosting a pop-up bar, bistro and stage that heroes the foodie holy trinity – beer, beef and lamb.

Dishes will feature everything from Longreach organic lamb ribs with Tweed Real Food curry rub and Bunny Chow Down vegetable mustard pickle to Moroccan Mt Tamborine goat curry with Summer Land camel milk yoghurt, chickpeas, CC’s Kitchen sweet mango chutney and green mango pickle, with a couple of noteworthy vegetarian options for the legendary plant-powered family members who let you do your thing in peace.

Besides budding brews (hello mulled cider) and meals, you’ll find graziers and butchers dishing up free live cooking demonstrations during the event. Expect to see the likes of Alastair McLeod, Paul West, Matt Sinclair and many more!

The Hunting Club is opening one night early as an extra special meat treat, running from 5pm-10pm on Friday, July 19. During the festival dates of June 20 and 21, The Hunting Club will be open from 10am-10pm.

To keep the good times rolling, live music will be held from 4pm-6pm on Saturday and Sunday – making for one all-round hearty bit of fun.
