Presented by The Courier-Mail, Queensland Taste Marketplace will be a treat for the senses between 10am-5pm on July 20 and 21 at this year’s highly anticipated Regional Flavours food & wine festival!
In between feasting on local fare, make a beeline for the Marketplace — where grocery shopping is upgraded from blah to hoorah.
More than 80 stallholders from across 17 different Queensland growing regions (including the Lockyer Valley and Scenic Rim) will come together with a plethora of cheese, wine, chocolate, pasta, preserves and plenty more at your purchasing will.
If your stash of chocolate and cheese won’t survive the trip home, pull up a seat at tables provided in the Picnic Patch (it will be pretty hard to say no to a cheeky on-site snack)!
What’s more, a special wine region section will offer free wine tastings alongside bottles ready to take home or enjoy right there, right then on the lawns!
Hot tip for those wishing to stay and sip: Regional Flavours is doing their part to protect our planet by eliminating the use of plastic cups and utensils. Reusable tumblers will be available for purchase for a mere $5, meaning you can have your wine and be a good guy too.
