The Brisbane French Festival is coming to town, celebrating Bastille Day (July 14) a few days early with a festival in the South Bank Parklands.
French entertainment, products, drinks and most importantly, food, will all be the focus of the weekend from July 11-12. There’ll even be a whole tent dedicated to wine and cheese, every gourmet’s dream. With the chance to purchase take home packs and try wines from exhibitors such as Casama, The Wine Traveller and DiscoverVin, it will be hard to leave the tent to explore the other French treats.
If that doesn’t tempt you, the wine, markets, masterclasses, cabarets and fashion shows should be enough to entice you to embrace your inner Frenchie, so don your best beret and striped shirt and get your derriere to South Bank from the 11th until the 12th of July.
