Cowch’s udderly delicious new menu

  • Food & Booze
Sinfully sweet and deliciously fun, Cowch’s creative desserts have cemented themselves as Brisbane’s most talked about treats over the past 12 months. Putting together booze and dessert, Cowch has had sweet tooths coming back again and again to work their way through the dairy-lightful menu. Epic banana splits, pancake stacks and DIY ice cream pops are just a few of the irresistible treats, with adults only goodies to tempt in the grown-ups after dark. cowch dessert bar brisbane churrosBut if you’re one of the devotees who’s tried everything on the menu – and every possible combination of naked pops – you’ll be happy to hear about the brand new menu just launched at the South Bank dessert bar. With the new menu making room for a number of oozy salted caramel concoctions, inventive breakfast creations and jazzy cocktails, you’ll be pushing people out of the ‘whey’ to get in there and try them. The banana split has gotten a breakfast makeover with yoghurt and granola or ricotta and jam flavours available, while for suppertime sweets, a new banoffee dessert pizza – with a white chocolate base, banana, golden crumble, fresh whipped cream and gooey salted caramel – is udderly delectable. If you can bring yourself to share all the new treats with a friend, a brand new churros platter is made for tucking into with your pals, with 16 freshly baked churros served with ice cream or froyo and two shots of salted caramel, dark, white or milk chocolate for dipping. cowch dessert bar brisbane sundaeAll sounding a bit too G-rated? Cowch’s wicked range of adult indulgences might just tickle your fancy. The moo-rish ‘Dae Before Mondae’ sundae boasts 3 scoops of vanilla, chocolate and cookie dough ice cream on a Baileys and Frangelico soaked chocolate brownie, finished off with Tim Tams, whipped cream and a dark chocolate drizzle. We’ve got serious food envy just thinking about it. The cocktail list also has a few new additions, along with some old faves that will give you deja moo. But any excuse for a Chocolitini right? Even the Dry July-ers will find something on the drinks list, with a few mocktails making their delicious debut. Cowch is open 7 days from 7am-late. Your mooove. Words by Crimson Dunstan
