Yule love these festive specials.

Move aside, pavlova! A new sweet favourite has rolled its way into town… and just in time for Christmas!

Despite only opening recently, Chouquette on Edward Street has already marked its reign as one of the CBD’s best boulangeries thanks to quality croissants and pastries that follow in the footsteps of its legendary sister shop in New Farm.

Equipped with the best French butter the Parisian patisseries have to offer, it’s no wonder Chouquette knows how to get this gingerbread, with a range of festive season specials making Christmas gifting and catering that much easier!

Starting November 20, Chouquette’s CBD location will be offering up everything from gingerbread houses to gingerbread tarts, festive macarons, and not one, not two, but THREE Yule log varieties available to order to impress guests when it comes to festive feasting.

For traditionalists who love a classic, The Rustic Yule log is the one for you: delicious crumble meets almond biscuit moelleux and house-made praline buttercream! Knead to hear more? The Temptation is just as tantalizing with a creamy chocolate mousse surrounded by sponge, almond crisp, salted caramel and crème brûlée.

We’re not out of the woods just yet, foodies – we haven’t even told you about the most exciting flavour! An expedition for your tastebuds, The Caribbean Yule log is perhaps the most daring dessert of them all, with decadent cremeux surrounded by poached pineapple and mango, vanilla choc mousse, and a coconut and almond crisp.

These deluxe desserts are only available to pre-order until December 18, so if you’re like Mariah Carey (and all you want for Christmas is Yule), simply email chouquette_edwardst@outlook.com or call 3211 8251 to order your Christmas treats today!

Keeping the G&G up to date with tasty tidbits requires a lot of lattes (and espresso martinis), so we occasionally need to give out some sponsored love. Rest assured that we only work with businesses that we think you’ll love.
