Brisbane’s most festive Christmas markets
Can you hear that? Screaming children, fighting couples and shouted profanities thanks to carpark road rage. Forget daggy carols, they’re the true sounds of Christmas, well, Christmas shopping at least.
Never fear, we’ve got the gift that keeps on giving – forget lines a mile long, empty shelves and hearing Mariah Carey’s voice on repeat, Brisbane’s long list of Christmas markets are here to save you and your sanity.
We might miss out on a white Christmas, but that doesn’t mean we have miss out on European style market. Bringing together Brisbane’s best food trucks, market stalls, live music and a licensed bar, the World Food Market’s concept is a Christmas miracle. There’ll be stalls with Christmas cakes and puddings, decorations and wreaths, artisanal local handmade goodies and gifts. Bring along a picnic blanket, your nearest and dearest and even your furry friends (although maybe leave the reindeer at home) and enjoy a not-so-silent night. Read more about the markets here.
