Brisbane’s meatiest all you can eat restaurant is turning 2!
06 Jun 2016
Carnivores, we’ve found your ultimate dining spot and it’s one you might want to loosen the belt buckle for. Situated in prime position in the Riverside Centre in the CBD, Navala Churrascaria is an all you can eat degustation restaurant with a difference, and an exotic one at that. Serving up mouthwatering Brazilian BBQ with a side of stunning river views through their floor-to-ceiling windows, you’ll find no less than 20 different kinds of juicy, slow cooked meats and 17 traditional sides on their menu – and they’ll just keep coming until you tell them to stop! For the month of June, however, it’s not just about the food, because Navala Churrascaria is turning 2! A reason to celebrate if we ever heard one, their 2nd birthday festivities won’t just be limited to one day, they’ll be partying for the whole month with live bands and Brazilian dancers! Get the full Brazilian experience when you book in for dinner on Saturday June 11, 18 or 25, with the sights and sounds of South America to entertain you while you dine. Be serenaded by the Coisa Linda Band on June 11, dazzled by colourful Brazilian dancers on June 18 and lulled into a food coma by the jazzy tunes of The View From Madeleine’s Couch on June 25. While you take in the entertainment, be sure to pay attention to what’s happening at your table, because the churrascaria experience is a little different to your usual ordering system. First, you’ll order a selection of unlimited sides to share, including crispy potato chips, polenta, Brazilian potato salad and coconut rice. Don’t go to wild though – because you’ll want to save room for the main event! Roaming the dining room will be servers with skewers of wood and charcoal roasted meats, including tender lamb rump, juicy beef steak, chicken drumettes, saucy pork ribs and garlic prawns – and plenty more. Carved at your table, the meats will keep coming until you tell them to stop with a handy sign located on your table. Whether you want to leave room for dessert or not is up to you… Be sure to pair it all with an exotic cocktail or two, with signature sips like their zesty Caipirinha and Brazilian martinis to round out the experience. Date night, girl’s night or celebratory get-together, this is the perfect spot for it all – there’s even a private dining option if you’ve got a big group coming, or weekday lunch specials like a $15 slow roast of the day on Tuesdays and $16 steak and chips on Thursdays. Just in case you can’t fit in a unlimited feast on your lunch break (even if it is only $53pp – long lunch any one?). However you like it, to get the full Brazilian BBQ experience, you’ll find Navala Churrascaria in the Riverside Centre at 123 Eagle Street in the CBD. But rest assured that we only work with businesses that we think are really nifty, as the sponsor for this post is!
